Walking in another Mans Moccasins .....

    Everyday I look into many worn faces, that have carried the weight of the world on their heavy shoulders. The biggest ministry that one can offer  is a smile . Till you have walked many moons in another mans moccasins , you cannot know know the weight of their world and all that comes with it . I respect many of the various characters that walk through life, it's not where you come from but where you are going . 

   When ever your heart is synchronised with the heart beat of heaven ...what moves God will move you ...will compel  you to deep waves of unknown compassion .....what beats inside of his heart will pulsate through your chest . The very human body cannot carry what the Father feels for us .It is so intense that the slight imprint on our heart of what the Father is about , it sometimes even feels like a very over whelming physical feeling . 

   People that we deem to be least important in the eyes of society ...is highly regarded by heaven . People that look so broken that they cannot be fixed .... When we are disgusted by habits that have been passed down by the generations ... When we judge people that are falling apart , cover up your wounds that are too ghastly to look at  ....and wonder why they cannot put on a decent act like the rest of society . When expensive things cannot cover a maimed and diseased heart that is bleeding because valves are blocked  . When they cannot hide behind expensive cars . Jesus says pick up my orphans that's are debilitated and covered in blood because mans false love has maimed them . Rescue my loved ones who have hidden in dark cold caves because of religion , RELIGION is a hard rigid task master . Religion has no ears...it has no eyes and it does not have a beating heart . 

   Jesus said my burden is easy and yoke is light . If you love the least of these you have shown love to me . When it is humbling to love them ...then you have reached the least of the these . If is out of your comfort zone ....you have loved the least of these . 

   If you can look past the worn faces and all that life has dealt them ....You will see me . There is a treasure in every human waiting to be polished .

Seeking Heaven to find out What He is doing on Earth

   Here is a update on ministry from  the Land Down Under. There is no place that I would rather be than with S.A.L.T ministries with Pete and Megan Dover .I don't have pictures but I have posted a link where you can have a look at the website to see the heart of our ministry, the core of who we are.

    I am involved in a few different departments in the life of the church .This year I have been doing an internship and being mentored by my pastors. Church is about relationships !! 

   In the midst of Gods presence there is change that is happening in the atmosphere that is being fostered by a life style of holiness,inviting God to do life with us  .Circumstances and all that life offers is bowing to its knee to the gentle invasion of the Holy Spirit .  

     Here is a brief peek into one of the departments that I am involved with . This month we took our eclectic bunch of young people to a youth camp called Break Out .There were 4 or 5 other youth groups involved . It is such an awesome privilege to be their youth  leader and see their faith explode . They are such a special group of kids seeking after the things of Heaven . At the end of the camp we went through a fire tunnel ... Several leaders were praying and whispering words of encouragement or visions that they had seen to youth as they were walking by . Going through the fire tunnel was such a spiritual deposit for these kids .There is fire in their bellies and God is on the move in our youth group. 

    In this past season God  has been doing a stretching and growing in my faith. Most people would not see Australia as a mission field but it is !!!! I could not be more tailor made to Love on the Aussie people , I feel pretty local . They have been deeply embedded in my heart and there to stay.Your prayer support would be deeply appreciated  .

A New Season

  In the midst of knowing God in this journey there have been many times in the chaos where I have wondered where to find His voice .  Through many uncertain moments I have learnt to lean into His protection ....Ask Him to fight for me ...to ahead of my path and prepare the way on my behalf. He is the ultimate dreamer and lover of my soul . I can not even fathom the dreams that He has for me .In my journey in Australia I have had to invite Jesus into every area of life ,He has done above and beyond what I could imagine .Every step has been ordained and ordered of Him and in that place I am under His covering .
  This support letter will be very different from most . Let me cast a little bit of vision of what S.A.L.T ministries is about . There are many activities that I am involved in , in the life of the church . God is so clever in His way in planning .... I have to giggle . I have amazing Pastors Pete and Meg Dover ...they have shaken the core values in the operation of my mind . I could never look at people the same again . In our church we accept every person from all walks of life ... There is not one person that is without treasure in their soul. I will give you a quick over view of what I do and over time if you are still interested then I will be able to fill you in on testimonies as they come .
  There are many departments in the life of the church ...my main role is being a children's minister . I do weekly planning for the kids ministry . I love to do heaps of art projects as it is very therapeutic for children who have been through trauma . Our church is in a low in-come  area and a lot of children that I work with have been emotionally stressed .  I believe it is very important to teach these kids how to have relationship with Jesus ...He is very real and wants to speak with them . Kids come in with all sorts of stories ....most beautiful kids come through my class . Family life for them is often  unpredictable ....I always make sure that they know that they are special ...it is only a tiny reflection of how truly pleased the Heavenly Father is with them . I hug them like its the last time I'll see them in many cases is proves to be true due to home life getting out of hand . I might be the only person that has the time to celebrate them ...I have shed many silent tears when I know that these children are going into unknown situations .
    I  am involved in two youth program's that are running.... I am a youth leader on Fridays nights and help run a Tuesday night Bible study for year 11 and 12 . WE HAVE FUN !!!! May 17th we are taking the kids to a youth camp . God is moving amongst the young people . Beautiful relationships are being established . Aussie kids are AWESOME . There is no place I 'd rather be . They tickle my heart with delight .
   As a church we believe in showing love in the practical way !!!  I am a volunteer  with Thursday SALT BOX , families can come get free clothes, hampers, bread and a hot meal . The leadership of our church mingle with the people and have a cuppa and some bikkies. Relationship !! We show people that we care . It's is a great place to meet new families .
     Our  goal as a church is to bring people into relationship with Jesus . There is an awesome ministry called Sozo . I am involved on the Sozo team and seen amazing things happen . Jesus is speaking !!
   We will be going to Hillsong in July . I have my ticket paid for still in need of funds for the accommodation .
